“Bringing Israel Home” is hosted by Chef Michael Solomonov, an Israeli chef and restaurateur, known for his Philadelphia restaurant, Zahav. He won the James Beard Foundation awards for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic in 2011, Cookbook of the Year in 2016, and Outstanding Chef in 2017.  

Chef Solomonov explores the people, food and culture of Israel, bringing Israel’s extraordinarily diverse and vibrant culinary landscape into people’s homes via interviews with food and cultural figures in Israel.

Solomonov will cook a signature recipe and some delicious Israeli recipes will be available during the program.
